전시 ⟪말하지 않는 섬⟫은 인간 활동이 전무한 무인도 위에 상상한 작은 가설이 자생적으로 또다른 이야기를 만드는 가능성을 살펴봅니다. 이를 통해 초기의 서사에서 파생했으나 원형에서 멀어지는 가설들을 확인해보며 이야기가 어떻게 능동적으로 움직일 수 있는지, 그것을 매개하는 인간은 어떻게 서사를 변형시키는지 탐구하고 특정 지역에 관한 이야기가 형성되어 공동체에 전파되는 과정에 주목합니다.

Unsaid Island imagines a small hypothesis that takes place on an uninhabited island and examines the possibility of that hypothesis spontaneously creating another story. The exhibition looks into hypotheses that are moving away from the original narrative they were derived from, thereby exploring how stories are able to actively change and how human mediators transform narratives, as well as the process by which stories on specific regions are formed and spread in a community.
